FAQs
Our approach at La Jolla Psychiatric Rejuvenation is thoughtful, collaborative, and tailored to each individual. With extensive clinical experience, we use a multimodal treatment approach designed to address the full range of symptoms and underlying factors that affect mental health.
The goal is not only to reduce symptoms but to support lasting stability, resilience, and overall quality of life. Treatment plans are always personalized, and we adjust our approach together as your needs evolve.
We provide comprehensive treatment for a wide range of mental health and neuropsychiatric conditions, including ADHD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, chronic fatigue, chronic pain, circadian rhythm disturbances, depression, insomnia, memory impairment, migraines, OCD, PTSD, schizophrenia, substance abuse, testosterone deficiency, and thyroid dysfunction. Each condition is treated using evidence-based approaches tailored to the individual patient’s needs and circumstances.
We do not bill insurance companies directly and operate as an out-of-network provider. This approach allows us to focus fully on your care while preserving the flexibility, privacy, and individualized attention that many clients value.
For clients who would like to seek reimbursement, a superbill will be provided upon request. A superbill is an itemized receipt that you may submit to your insurance company to request partial reimbursement through your out-of-network mental health benefits. Because insurance plans vary, reimbursement policies and coverage amounts are determined by your individual insurance provider.
Appointments must be canceled 2 business days or more before they occur or the full rate will still be charged. Last minute cancellations can undermine your own care, and prevent someone else from using that time for their care.
Yes, virtual sessions are part of the program’s hybrid model, which begins with an in-person evaluation and subsequently transitions to virtual appointments. Video appointments are desirable for people with busy schedules or anxiety about leaving home, as well as for optimal functioning of the practice. These appointments are via Zoom but do not require Zoom registration. For these, you receive a text and email with a link to click and join the session.
